I was in the island of Penang last weekend to settle some official matters and barely had time to see Georgetown. But see it I did…in less than half a day even. And that very short trip made me realise just how steeped in history it is, making me long for more.
I’ve seen the world but I’ve never seen Penang before that day. That’s quite a shame, isn’t it?
But the good news is — I’ll be seeing Penang more often from now on. And I shall post something way better than just a quick collage of pics next time.
Quick Tip: Malaysians refer to Penang either as Penang [pih-NENG] or Pulau Pinang [puh-LAO pi-NANG].
