poli: day trip is fine. go in, as in drive in for like 5 minutes or so on a steep trail lined with trees on both sides until you see the wooden chalets. sorry, i’m not sure if they allow you to bring yr own barbecue beside the river. but i don’t see why not? :)

Can we just do a day trip and not stay in the resort?

You mentioned we have to go further in pass the campsite/river. How much further? Is that location suitable for setting up a bbq?

Yes, I went with my family for the weekend (but I didn’t go to the waterfall with them bec I had fever!). And yes, they cater for such functions.

Kak Haza: The best thing is: not many people know about the place yet. So it was quite deserted when were there. Tak tahu lah masa cuti sekolah ni. But if you go, you must go inside tau. Campsite/river sblh luar tu tak best. Drive masuk ke dalam lagi.

Nasim: Indeed, indeed. Too bad I had a fever that day and had to content with taking pics from the sidelines instead of joining the children in the ice-cold river waters.

Farrah: Hehehe. The truth is: I saw more of Malaysia when I was just a student visiting my parents in KL every once in a while. (I even went to a coin museum. I bet you didn’t know there’s one in KL!) Now that I’m here, I tend to visit ‘tourist’ spots only when I take friends/relatives who are on holiday in KL.
