With Twitter’s increasing popularity, it’s only inevitable for a slew of products and services cropping up to cash in on this latest social networking trend. Twitter Mosaic is one of them.
The moment you get to the main page, all you have to do is enter your Twitter username, then choose between “Show Twitter followers” and “Show Twitter friends”. For the purpose of this demo, I chose “Show Twitter friends”. After a very short wait — short being relative, depending on your patience and your internet connection, the site would then shows me a mosaic of the avatars of the people whom I am following on Twitter.

Note: I removed the avatars of people who had no avatars, i.e. showing the standard bird image. It’s so easy — just click on the avatars to get rid of them.
But the fun doesn’t end there. You can then choose from an array of products where your custom-made Twitter mosaic can be printed — choose between mugs, bags, t-shirts, cards and mousepads. Oh, and you can also have a t-shirt printed with your favourite tweet. These would make excellent holiday gifts for friends with Twitter accounts, if you ask me.
Here’s the mug that I chose, opting to put my own avatar and username in the middle. You can have it removed, if you don’t want it.
The mug ain’t cheap though — with VAT, but without shipping, the price starts from £10.95.
The tote bag can cost between £9.95 and £25.95, depending on the type of tote bag you pick.
The mousepad, which looks suh-weet, costs £10.95.
The t-shirt comes in different colours and styles — men’s, ladies’, children’s, baby’s, long-sleeved, short-sleeved. I love the caption at the back! (Obviously, I used a mosaic of my followers here.)
T-shirt cost starts from £21.95.
What I like most about the site is its clean, simple interface, and the ease of which I can adjust the design. You can even change the model who’s wearing the t-shirt!
