I just realised with a start that the twins are three and half years old today. Oh my!

twins with toy dumptruck

In just six more months, they’ll be out of playschool and entering Prep class. [NB: The Malaysian school year starts in January.]

And to think, whenever I cuddle up with them at night, I still refer to them as “Mama’s babies”. Whether I like it or not, they’re no longer babies anymore.

Oh why did the two of you grow up so fast?? :(

  1. Ang bilis ng panahon. Hindi mo mapapansin, may dalawang gwapitong kambal na. =)

  2. My son is turning 3 next month. Time flies so fast. But he’s still my “baby”.

  3. Tama si Josiet. Mine is 4yrs old pero beni-baby ko pa rin. Papano ba ang level standing dyan sa Malaysia? Dito kasi, Nursery then Kinder then Preparatory bago mag grade 1.

  4. and the last we met they were still floating in your belly. ^-^
where did all those times go???

  5. witsandnuts: oo nga, eh. paminsan-minsan, ayaw na nga nila magpa-kiss sa akin :(

josiet & blogusvox: i guess our kids will always be babies in our eyes :)

blogusvox: in yr case, it must be worse coz she’s yr one and only. school progression in malaysia: prep, then kindergarten, then primary 1 — at least, in my kids’ school. if i’m not mistaken, to go into malaysian govt (public) school, it’s possible to enter “standard 1″ (that’s how they call “grade 1″ here) even without prep/kinder.

odette: floating? more like fighting for space. testing the stretch limit of the skin of my belly. i miss those days — watching all those bumps move around my swollen belly & trying to figure out if it was an elbow or a knee…then wondering which baby :)
