I had no idea what to expect other than the companion I was traveling with told me I was in for a treat. I think the room above exactly describes the experience. After a long flight from the states, exhausted, it felt like I had checked into a spa, and not a hotel. Check-in was a breeze. The lobby and amenities were so welcoming and inviting to the eyes. Stepped into my room and my jaw dropped. Tired, I had a hard time figuring things out, but after playing with the remote control I got the right lighting, and tried out the shower where all the stress of flying melted away. Oh, BTW, I loved the covered light and walway right from the International terminal. It was late, and the path seemed like a long welcome mat instead of just a sidewalk. Back to the shower... The soaps were terrific... One scented for romance I guess, and the other had a citris smell for a cool clean "start your day right" feeling. The linens on th bed were amazing, and I rolled up in them and fell fast asleep and didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. But I was there for work, but liked knowing I would be back that night to stay again. Truthfully, my thoughts were the rooms should have been rented by the hour, instead of by the night. I could see how this room with the right companion could be turned into a love nest. All in all it struck the right balance for the weary traveler, and for the couple looking to escape for a little while. If I come back this is where I will be staying from now on. In fact, I am doing research to find all the products used in the room t see if I can replicate it in my home. This hotel definitely leaves an impression.
