I have a small confession to make. I have this other blog. Or should I say had? Because since starting it in August 2007, I only wrote five measly posts…then stopped.

That was sometime after I first got my Nikon D40. Back then, I thought of documenting my journey into the world of DSLR photography, while providing useful information (or so I hoped) to fellow noobs like me. And by noobs, I mean people who’ve never even held a DSLR camera in their lives. Hence, the blog title: ‘The Absolute Newbie’s Guide to DSLR Photography & the Nikon D40′.
But after some point, I felt reluctant to go on. I kept thinking that it wouldn’t make a difference because there are so many other sites that offer so much information about photography, sites maintained by people who know more about photography than I do. Somehow, that thought stopped the ideas from coming almost instantaneously.
It was only in early 2008 that I revived the idea of having my own blog, making up my mind to write on three subjects closest to my heart: my children, my travels and my (attempts at) photography. These are my three passions in life and between them, I’ll never run out of things to write about. At some point, I started writing a bit about the city that I now call home. Afterall, what’s the point of calling my blog ‘Sleepless in KL’ if I don’t write a thing about KL? :)

It feels like ages since I first started my blog when, in reality, it’s only been just under nine months! Thank you, all, for sharing this journey with me.

I started blogging in July of last year,in Multiply. Only in May this year that I blogged in my own domain. I still keep my Multiply because most of my friends are there and for my old uploads also (songs, videos, photos). I agree that we should be writing about our utmost interests. =)
i just hope you backed up all your files! see my previous post on the subject here ->
