The holiday’s over. Literally. We got back from Phuket yesterday afternoon and I reported for work, as usual, this morning.
I’m in dire need of another holiday to recover from our recent holiday (only people who ever went on a vacation with small children will know what I mean by this!) and when I got to the office this morning, I got hit head-on by all sorts of issues, big and small. It’s as though the staff spent Monday and Tuesday compiling a list of problems that *I* had to resolve personally, which was not really the case because a lot of them could have been resolved very easily…which makes me wonder why ‘common sense’ is called ‘common sense’ when it really is not that common.
Ugh! I shouldn’t write when I’m tired and grouchy because I sound so pompous and whiny.
I once promised myself I will only post positive things in my blog. Maybe I’ll delete this entry in a few days’ time :P
